As a native of New York City and also a marketing executive for a top jewelry retailer, I find it my number one duty to stay abreast of the current trends of celebrities and socialites alike. But don't overdo it or you will wind up looking like a wandering gypsy nomad, and no one wants that (Disclaimer: the previous sentence was not intended to offend any wandering gypsy nomads).

And don't forget to be creative! You don't have to stick to common metal alloys and gemstones- try a gold plated cuff with leather strewn in between gold wire. Perhaps a bracelet made entirely of enormous crystals is more your speed - then live it up!
